เพด! ขออุทิศความสุขให้สัตว์ทั้งหลายไม่เว้นแม้แต่หนึ่งเดียว
ขอความสุขแพร่ไปในอากาศ
ขอน้อมรับความทุกข์ของสัตว์ทั้งหลายไม่เว้นแม้แต่หนึ่งเดียว
ขอทะเลแห่งความทุกข์เหือดแห้งหายไป
หากข้าพเจ้าสุข
ขออุทิศความสุขให้ผู้ปรารถนาความสุข
ขอความสุขแพร่ไปในอากาศ
หากข้าพเจ้าทุกข์
ขอข้าพเจ้าได้แบกความทุกข์ของสัตว์ทั้งหลาย
ขอทะเลแห่งความทุกข์เหือดแห้งหายไป
