First Tibetan Class

We had the first Tibetan class this evening. Khun Pranee sent a messenger to bring us offerings, snacks and the instructors' and staff's dinner. Even though she couldn't join us, she wanted to feed the class so that they had energy to study Tibetan. Nuch's mother bought coffee, cream and sugar as well as chocolate rolls for us. With good food, the students learned how to say "Would you like to eat?" They also learned how to spell and write basic words like fish, wolf, cow, father, mother, hot, eat, tea, hat, etc. Tibetan knowledge has truly spread to Thailand.

The students are of various backgrounds, from a secondary school student to an associate professor.

Tashi Delek! First Tibetan lesson.
