With a Feeling of Gratitude
Yesterday the Foundation friends came to Prof. Terentyev's lecture on Buddhism in Russia. The lecture was well presented with interesting illustrations of Russian life and practice in Tibetan Buddhism from the early 20th century till present. After the lecture, we went to have dinner together. That gave us an opportunity to talk about how to raise fund for our Tara Great Stupa project. We came up with an idea of holding a charity exhibition with the theme "Arts for Peace". I thought about the idea this morning and couldn't help feeling grateful that I was given this rare and precious opportunity to build the great stupa. Because of it, we need a lot of money. This need gives us a chance to do wonderful things in the world. It also binds friends together creating a web of friendship which will last till we gain enlightenment.

I also feel grateful that you let me be a part of building the great stupa.
I feel grateful for the last question and also Prof. Tarentyev’s meaningful answer: “The enemy is our guru.”
