Guru Rinpoche

Today is the 10th of the month according to Tibetan lunar calendar. Tibetan practitioners, particularly in the Nyingma lineage usually make offerings and recite the Guru Rinpoche mantra on this date. It is said that for those who have strong faith in Guru Rinpoche, he will come instantly at his or her doorstep. Yontan and I made an offering to Guru Rinpoche tonight. That brought me a special memory when we prayed to him for the first time at Khadiravana on the Maghapuja night and when we prayed all night long on the Asalhapuja night. We do hope soon we'll be able to pray to him again inside the new mantra stupa.

How beautiful it will be when the wind carries our Guru mantra and spreads it throughout the universe!

Om A Hung Benza Guru Pema Sitthi Hung. May all beings attain the noble state of Guru Rinpoche!

Thank you for reminding us of Guru. Though he is in a male form, I always regard his compassion like a mother's love towards her children.
