Taste of Freedom

A little bird came down from its nest to 'see' the world. We anticipated dangers and wanted to protect its life. While making it a new nest, I asked myself how we can save vulnerable life like this and all the vulnerable lives in the world. The bird with its tiny wings stayed in the basket for about 10 minutes, attempted a freedom and flew away.

Thank you for your comments. The shelter will come when we are ready. Khadiravana is not a temporary shelter only for our lifetime; it's a refuge for serious practitioners for a thousand years to come. Let's pray that the Stupa will be completed soon. It will be a great symbol of our faith, selflessness and compassion for sentient beings. But only the prayer is not enough. We also need to work hard to realize the goal.

The website is credited to Aj. Soraj. He's very busy. But he finds it important to do the website himself so that we can make frequent updates.
